The Guardian newspaper recently published a feature article on efforts to restore eel populations across the United Kingdom (UK).

Protecting glass eels and elvers (juvenile eels) is vital to maintaining healthy aquatic ecosystems in the UK. The Eels (England and Wales) Regulations 2009 have had a positive effect on survival rates and eel stock. Hydrolox screens offer the ideal solution for Eels Regulations compliance.

We’re proud that Hydrolox traveling water screens promote survival of young eels near water intake locations. To date, more than 400 screens have been installed at 135 locations around the world.
